These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Document E-Signer ("the Service"), operated as an individual/proprietary software product. By purchasing a license or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. Service Description
Document E-Signer is a desktop application that enables users to cryptographically sign PDF documents in bulk using their own hardware Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) token (e.g. ProxKey, mToken). The Service does not issue, sell, or manage digital signature certificates — you must already hold a valid DSC from a licensed Certifying Authority.
2. Licensing
Access to the Service is provided on a subscription basis (1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months) tied to the device on which it is activated. Licenses are non-transferable unless explicitly agreed to in writing.
3. Payments
Payments are processed via Razorpay. Prices are listed in INR and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. A license activates automatically upon confirmed payment.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including forging signatures on documents you are not authorized to sign, or using another person's DSC token without permission.
5. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is." We are not liable for any loss arising from misuse of the software, expiry or misuse of your DSC token, or document handling errors on your part. The legal validity of any signature depends on the certificate on your hardware token, not on the Service itself.
6. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
